Scope and service role
These terms apply to NearFree's public website, operated as an independent, pre-launch project. NearFree organizes public information about events and benefits. It is not an organizer, venue, merchant, ticket seller, benefits administrator or government agency, and it does not make reservations or complete transactions.
Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using NearFree, you accept these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. You may use NearFree only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law. A parent or guardian must supervise a minor's use; children under 13 must not submit public feedback or personal information.
Verify before relying on a listing
Dates, capacity, weather plans, prices, fees, eligibility and reservation rules can change after verification. The linked official provider's current terms control. Confirm there before traveling, purchasing or relying on availability.
External providers and transactions
External sites, registrations, purchases, transportation and in-person activities are provided by third parties. Their terms, privacy practices, refund rules and safety requirements apply to your dealings with them. NearFree does not control or become a party to those dealings by linking to or describing them.
Responsible use
Do not interfere with the site, evade security controls, misrepresent NearFree or an organizer, reuse the service to deceive others, or place personal or sensitive information in public feedback. Automated use must not impair access or bypass source rights.
Content and third-party rights
NearFree's original interface, editorial copy and illustrations are protected by applicable rights. Organizer names, marks, source pages and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Linking or inclusion does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement.
Public feedback
You retain rights in original material you submit. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, unlawful or personal information. By sending feedback through a public GitHub issue, you permit NearFree to review and use the factual correction or idea as reasonably needed to operate, correct and improve the service; GitHub's terms also apply. NearFree is not required to publish, adopt or compensate a submission.
Availability and warranties
The service is provided as available for general information. NearFree works to verify core facts but does not promise uninterrupted access, complete coverage, continued availability or error-free information. To the extent permitted by law, you use the service and external destinations at your own discretion.
Limits
To the extent permitted by law, NearFree is not responsible for a provider's cancellation, refusal, price change, injury, loss, external-site conduct or indirect loss resulting from reliance on a listing. Nothing here excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Applicable law and enforceability
Applicable law governs these terms without reducing any consumer right that cannot be waived. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, the Privacy Notice and notices shown with a specific feature form the agreement for the current website.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted here with a new updated date. Continued use after a change means the current terms apply to later use. Questions can be submitted through the public general-feedback path without including sensitive information.
