EDITORIAL & SPONSORSHIP

Editorial and Sponsorship Policy

This policy explains how NearFree selects, verifies, corrects and ranks information, and how any material commercial relationship must be disclosed.

Last updated August 16, 2026

Selection and coverage

NearFree looks across configured DFW cities, event types, recurring benefits, eligibility programs and community sources. Prominence or popularity is not a publication requirement; complete, current and usable facts are.

Verification and corrections

Official organizers, venues, cities and institutions are checked first, followed by a separate search for cancellations, changes and price conflicts. Missing or conflicting core facts stop publication. A correction report remains an unverified lead until the same gate passes again.

Corrections and updates

A report is treated as a lead and checked against current sources before the catalog changes. Material errors are corrected without waiting for a commercial party's approval. Listing verification dates and source links help users judge freshness; routine factual updates are not silently converted into endorsements.

Current sponsorship status

As of August 16, 2026, NearFree has no paid listings, sponsors, affiliate links or paid ranking. If that changes, the material relationship will be labeled clearly next to the affected content in English and Korean before publication; this page alone will not be treated as sufficient disclosure.

Ranking and commercial influence

No provider can pay for verification, favorable wording, higher placement or removal of eligibility and fee conditions. Public ordering follows the selected catalog view, date, city, distance or verification recency—not payment.

Disclosure standard

Any payment, free product, affiliate compensation, employment, ownership, family relationship or other connection that could affect how a user evaluates a claim must be labeled clearly and conspicuously with the related content, before a user acts on it. A footer link or this policy alone is not enough. Paid content and NearFree's own claims must be truthful, supported and distinguishable from independent editorial content.

Conflicts and future commercial work

Sponsored content must still pass the same factual gate. A provider cannot pay to delay or soften a correction, remove an eligibility or fee condition, or convert an unverified lead into a listing.

Editorial visuals

Some listing images are original, AI-assisted editorial illustrations reviewed before publication. They are visual context, not documentary evidence or a promise of the exact scene. Listing facts come from the cited sources, not the image.

Changes and contact

The updated date identifies the current policy. A new sponsorship, affiliate program, paid placement or ranking influence must be disclosed at the affected content and reflected here before launch. Report a factual correction or ask an editorial question through the Contact page without including personal information.
